Why Gulf families keep choosing Istanbul
It is close, it is familiar, and in early summer and autumn it is far more comfortable than home. For most Gulf families it is also a city they already visit, which means the guest list arrives somewhere it knows rather than somewhere it has to be persuaded into.
What that hides is a planning question. A celebration that runs late, seats several hundred people the way your family expects and feeds them properly needs a venue chosen for exactly that, and most venue shortlists are not built that way.
The parts that have to be settled first
These are the decisions that shape everything after them, so we make them before the venue is booked rather than after.

- A run sheet the venue team will follow, written in the language they work in
Where a long night actually works
A hotel ballroom is the honest answer when the guest list is large, the night is long and half of it is sleeping upstairs. A Bosphorus yalı or an old mansion gives you a room nobody forgets and a stricter set of rules about noise and access. An island venue buys you privacy and costs you an hour of everyone else's evening.

The civil ceremony
Whether you register the marriage in Türkiye or keep the legal step at home is your decision, and it changes what has to happen before the day. We keep an outline of the paperwork foreign couples deal with. The details change with your nationality, so confirm the final requirements with your own consulate and the marriage office that will register you.
